Stacking The Shelves – a weekly meme hosted by Tynga’s Reviews

Here are the rules:

Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!

  • Participants are to create their own Stacking the Shelves post and link bank to Tynga’s Reviews so more people can join the fun!
  • Posts can be laid out any way you want.
  • The host site posts updates on a Saturday but bloggers taking part can post any day they choose.
  • Visit Tynga’s Reviews on a Saturday and add your link.
  • Visit other participants sites to find out what they have added!

The rules are simple and it is a really fun way to showcase your books and see what other bloggers are excited about this week! Not to mention the fact that it is a good way to interact with and get to know other bloggers!

Here are the books I added to my shelves this week:

Not added very much to my shelf this week (too busy playing Dragon Age: Inquisition – you might have noticed that I have not posted at all this week until today!) but I am very happy with what I got:

WWW Wednesdays: Week 29

www wednesday
WWW Wednesdays is a weekly meme hosted by Should Be Reading

To play along, just answer the following three (3) questions…

1. What are you currently reading?
2. What did you recently finish reading?
3. What do you think you’ll read next?

I was taking part in this meme every week but it was getting harder to juggle my posts so I have opted instead to do it fortnightly (well, more-or-less fortnightly!)

Top Ten Sequels I Can’t Wait To Get

top ten tuesday

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme created by The Broke and The Bookish. This week’s theme is:

Top Ten Sequels I Can’t Wait To Get

There are a lot of books that I am eager to read out there. I tend to read series more than stand-alones so I well know the frustration at having to wait for the next book to come out. Here are some books where I am anxious for the sequel (either it isn’t out yet or I have yet to find the funds to buy it!):

I have spotted several versions of the Fictional Bucket List popping up on a few blogs now and I think it is really awesome so I couldn’t resist making up a list of my own!

Basically it is a bucket list for all the literary worlds you would love to visit or literary characters you would like to interact with – the sky’s the limit! Throughout the months of October/November I will be counting down my top 10 so stay tuned! I have already shared my #10 choice here, my #9 choice here, my #8 choice here, my #7 choice here, and my #6 choice here. My next selection on my Fictional Bucket List would be…

One week to Dragon Age: Inquisition…

dragon age inq

With just a week to go before this game is released in the UK, it is getting increasingly difficult to avoid spoilers – and at this point I am not really sure I want to! I haven’t been able to resist watching the various Twitch streams and YouTube videos that have been popping up this week.

I’ll admit it, I am a bit of a spoiler whore, especially with games and TV shows (not so much with books and movies though). I cannot seem to be able to help myself, no matter how much I admonish myself for it later (it would be nice to be surprised once in a while).

Waiting on Wednesday: The Sin Eater’s Daughter

waiting on wednesday

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine, that showcases the upcoming releases that we are eagerly anticipating.

I was taking part in both Waiting on Wednesday and WWW Wednesdays but it was getting a little too much trying to do both on the same day. I have decided to keep doing both but now on alternate weeks. That way I can still keep doing both of them – the best of both worlds really!
